THIRD REICH EASTERN FRONT MEDAL CITATION AND CONDOLENCE LETTER.
This is a most interesting combination of the citation for an Eastern Front/Russian Front medal awarded posthumously along with the letter to the soldiers next of kin. These two would have accompanied the medal when it was sent. Awarded to a Johann Pretl in August 1942. The accompanying letter was sent to a Frau Anna Winter in Vienna in August 1943.
