A British, WWII, No.36M MkI Hand Grenade in excellent condition. Complete with 65% of original lacquer with residual filling rings. Manufacturer marking to body appears to be ' C/A. Mc D.' indicating manufacture by Callenders Abbots Foundry Co Ltd Glasgow, Mc Dowall Steven & Co Falkirk. Lever similarly marked ' W & M ' with base plug 1943 dated.
All parts present and fully strippable.read more

WW1 Imperial Luger Holster - Souvenired.

Standard WW1 Imperial Luger holster. Manufacturer marked and dated 1915 ( ? ) to interior but difficult to accurately read. The holster is sound with no loose stitching and various marks and scratches. Interestingly there appears to have been a label glued to the reverse, the remains of which partially obscure an inscription from a ' Lieut Warr R.E. Bullion EIIR crowned crimson silk flag on its staff bearing bullion Garter Star with Sphinx below resting in a laurel sprays; beneath the flag, crossed swords. A paperwork grouping to 2660871 Guardsman Bonny David Arthur Burton LASHLEY. Lashley, originally from Smethwick joined the Guards in 1940 and was a member of the war raised 5th battalion.
