1916 Irish Volunteer Newspaper.
April 22nd 1916 edition of the Irish Volunteer edited by Eoin Mac Neill. This newspaper was the official journal of the Provisional Committee of the Irish Volunteer a group that were trained in the use of arms and military tactics in the defence of the people of Ireland. Eoin Mac Neill was the co-founder of the Gaelic League and went on to be a minister in the first government of the Irish Free State.
This edition includes articles on ' guerrilla warfare in France ', ' Holding a crossroads ' and ' Night operations . Good used condition with damage to spine which does not effect any of the text.' Has been folded.
