A 1918 dated No.36M MkI Grenade. This example,a souvenir, recently removed from a mantlepiece, has a body marked ' JMD&SL 1918 ' indicating manufacture by J.M. Doughty & Sons Ltd. London. The base plug is similarly marked but is dated 1917. In good, clean condition with some minor pitting to lever.
