WW2 British Pattern Time Pencil.
WW2 British pattern time pencil as issued to Auxiliary Units. This alloy, copper and brass example has a good deal of its original finish complete with yellow band markings indicating the shortest delay available 1/2 - 3/4 hour. These early British pattern delays are very scarce compared with later patterns and this example is complete but INERT. Minor corrosion to one side.

38cms x 30cms board mounted image of the Yorkshire Hussars - winners of the Scarbrough Cup in 1922. Clear image shows their shooting team armed with Hotchkiss machine guns as befits a cavalry unit. The regiment was reformed as horsed cavalry under Lt-Col G R Lane Fox , they were winners of the Cup five times in seven years from 1921. Light foxing to mount, good overall condition. read more
