Luftwaffe Cap Eagle and Wreath.
Luftwaffe O/Rs or NCO's alloy eagle and wreath for the schirmutze. Clearly having been removed from a cap with the wreath being bent to the shape of the cap and with the eagle having some minor distortion. Pins to both items present and intact. The eagle is smaller than the normal type with fine detail and a style similar to the early droop tail pattern. Good clean condition. read more
WW1 34th Div MkI Steel Helmet.
Steel helmet Mk I or 'Brodie'. This particular example is marked to the front with the chequerboard device of the 34th Division, a device that was adopted after the Division's arrival in France in early 1916.
This example is interesting for showing clear signs of having been refurbished by the AOC Salvage Supply Depot indicating that it was probably retrieved from the battlefield. The l... read more

WW2 'Christmas Tree' pattern, steel calthrop or tyreburster. Probably of American design, this type was airdropped over Luftwaffe airfields and roads from late1944 and was designed to present a point or cutting edge whichever way it landed. This example has approx. 65% original green finish with an impressed 'L' on one face with some minor confusion. read more
