A great addition to your own desk, this is a calender set, all in German of course, probably from a WW2 officers deskset. Consisting of two solid brass shells mounted either side of the dates, months holder. All affixed to a cream marble base. I actually have never had one of these before!! Good well struck, white metal badge of the Highland Cyclist Battalion. This unit was originally formed from the 5th (Vol.) Battalion Black Watch and went on to serve with the 51st Highland Division.
This example is in excellent condition with both lugs present although bent through use. Also has a J.R.Gaunt makers tablet soldered to the rear. Excellent original example. read more
