'DER WELT KRIEG' WW1 CIGARETTE CARD ALBUM BOOK PRODUCED IN THIRD REICH ERA.

This is a fantastic, complete cigarette album 'Der Welt Krieg', the 'World War'. Produced in the Third Reich era, about 1933. It consists of the pictorial history of WW1 in German coloured cigarette cards. There are 270 in total, all complete and all in mint condition. It starts in 1914, and tells how the war was triggered by the assasination in Sarajevo, then the outbreak of war. covers 1915 with the Russian, Serbian and Italian campaigns.1916 with Verdun and trench warfare, 1917 and the Western Front. 1918 and winter in the trenches etc etc. There is a section on the German navy in 1914-1918. There are dozens of interesting cards depicting many unique scenes, German tank in WW1 trenches, special weapons, different troops, allied countries that were fighting with Germany from the colonies etc. A fantastic piece of information. There are 71 complete pages. With complete covers. Never had one or seen one of these before.
