One piece aluminium Wehrmacht buckle with unit marked leather tab. Faintly manufacturer marked tab with unit markings ' 3./N.24 ' probably signals unit. Buckle not maker marked and in good, used condition with light wear to high points with remains of green finish to reverse.  read more

Royal Scots Fusiliers Casualty Trio.

14/15 Star, War and Victory trio to 17847 Pte.Percy Walter Perry Royal Scots Fusiliers . Perry was killed on 25.09.15 in action with the 1st Battalion probably in the tale end of the action at Bellewaarde and has no known grave being commemorated on the Menin Gate. He originally came from Burton-on-Trent. Medals with original ribbons in good, clean condition, toned overall.  read more

Printed 12 Commando Shoulder title.

Scarce printed shoulder title for No 12 Commando. In heavily used condition with clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform. No. 12 Commando was a battalion-sized unit formed in 1940 in Northern Ireland, they carried out a number of small-scale raids in Norway and France between 1941 and 1943 before being disbanded and its personnel dispersed to other commando units. Scarce.

Photographic portrait, 21 x 28cms of Colonel Wykeham Stanley Cornwallis, 2nd Baron Cornwallis KCVO, KBE, MC. Educated at Eton and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst he served with the Royal Scots Greys on the general staff in France and Flanders. He was wounded and awarded the Military Cross.
