Scarce 1943 manual ' Enemy Sabotage Equipment ( Identification ). 67pgs mostly of b/w illustrations showing explosives, fuzes, concealment etc. Ironically many of the illustrations are of Allied equipment which was in widespread use by German special forces who availed themselves of captured supplies meant for SOE. 1942 Lady's hallmarked silver compact with engraved regimental badges for the Black Watch and the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. Linked to these badges are names - John and Tobruk and Lindsay and Slim River. 33cms x 43cms framed and glazed colour portrait photograph of ' Mick ' a horse that saw extensive service with the Prince of Wales's Volunteers ( S.Lancashire ). Mick was foaled in Ireland in 1904 and served with the regiment from 1909 to 1923 in France, Greece, Serbia and Turkey and was still alive to be photographed in 1934 wearing the medal ribbons displayed in the frame. A good example of a WW2 used M3 fighting knife in US M8 scabbard. Maker marked under cross guard U.S. M.3 CASE, ( Case were the fourth largest producer of the M3 ) with a plastic M8 scabbard with the chape marked ' U.S.M8 B.M.Co ' and the body carrying the markings of Victory Plastics.
