A 1949 Patt. Parachute Regiment Uniform.

Excellent example of a '49 Patt B.D. Blouse dated 1949 with the insignia of a Private in the Parachute Regiment. Embroidered Parachute Regiment shoulder titles to both shoulders with printed Airborne forces insignia below. A good embroidered, wartime pattern jump qualification wing to the right arm with a good conduct stripe to the left arm. The size 10 blouse, Height 5' 9" to 5' 10", by Prices Tailors Ltd., has been tailored and altered to provide pleats and a crisper look and fit. In excellent condition with the exception of one small moth hole to rear, interior shows some sign of wear but is complete with label, inspection marks and an inked name.
