Black oil cloth interior with faint manufacturer's details of ' L.Silberston & Sons ' with a size of 6 3/4 and what looks to be a date of 1937. Good, unmothed example of a surprisingly scarce cap. Probably locally made in France this aluminium has been mounted onto a thin leather wrist band with an accompanying GS button and a circle of red silk possibly a charm or keepsake cut from a woman's dress. The disc features the details of 20734 Pte.Harry Hood Grenadier Guards ( Grenadier is spelt wrongly on the disc ). Good overall condition, leather band a little dry.
