Both ball and tip are of highly polished silver plate mounted onto a cane that features a french polish type finish. Highland Light Infantry Officer's Glengarry.

Dark green, thick wool glengarry for an officer of the Highland Light Infantry. Silver and gilt , multi-piece HLI cap badge that with fully lined, glazed cotton interior. Both tails present and full length with a couple of moth nibbles to crown, the rest of the glengarry being moth free. The cap has been heavily used and may well respond to a light clean.  read more
