Original WW2 Wehrmacht Infantry Assault badge. Unmarked, hollow, silvered zinc construction with crimped steel hinge and pin with a flat wire ' C ' form catch. Crisp detail with approx 60%+ of the original bright silvered finish remaining to obverse with rubbing to highlights . Has many of the attributes of hollow back badges made by Friedrich Linden. Good, original example.

A poignant grouping of 39/45 Star, Aircrew Europe and War Medal to 1163110 Sgt.Robert John Cockshott aged 22 from Derby.
