Well used and characterful R.A.F. Officers service dress cap by Burberry. Approx. size 7 with roan leather headband, silk lining with prominent Burberry label. Bullion officer's badge with gilt eagle with a now cracked patent leather strap. A couple of minor nips, one hidden by strap and one to underside of peak. 1939 Day Badge Frankentag Hesselberg 1939

Die-cast metal badge in a matt grey finish. The badge features a striking design of an eagle with downswept wings, that form the shape of the badge. At the base is a swastika within a circular wreath. There is a central inscription reading ' FRANKENTAG HESSELBERG 1939 '.
