Black painted AP projectile with manufacturer codes dates etc and waffenampt impressed to steel driving band. Residual red paint indicating colour of trace element with inert trace cup to bottom of projectile.

An excellent example of a 1942 dated US 60mm M49A2 mortar round for use with standard US infantry 60mm M2 Mortar. This particular example retains 95% of it's original paint finish with stencilled filling information. Economy plastic bodied fuze retaining safety wire with some pitting to aluminium nose. Complete with inert propellant cartridge. Excellent, clean example.
