A very nice example of this award, and as it has ‘swords’ was given to a combatant or someone directly involved in the war. Hood, Camo, Gas Protective, Canadian, 1942.

Made in Canada for all British Forces during WWII, these waterproofed cotton head and shoulder covers in a camouflage pattern were designed to be worn under the standard steel helmet.
