THIRD REICH SILVER WOUND BADGE WITH ORIGINAL PACKET OF ISSUE.
A later produced badge made in the grey ‘blunt metal’ as the Germans call it. The silver finish has faded a little, merged into the alloy base. The badge is unissued and remains in the brown paper issue envelope. The envelope is a little tatty but otherwise complete. The badge is unmarked to the rear, but the packet is marked with the maker Rudolf Wachtler & Lange Mittweida. Their designated code was 100, but as I said I can’t see it on the badge. A nice combination/pair.
