A good, used example of an officer's sidecap as worn by officers of the Royal Artillery during WW2. Manufactured by Bond St. tailors Herbert Johnson with owner's initials in cash's tape tacked to the interior. Approx. size 6 3/4 - 7 with plush head band and fully lined. 1942 dated 20mm Armour Piercing projectile and case . Projectile with 70% + of it's original colour and stencilling with a yellow band signifying a yellow trace element. 1943 dated lacquered steel case with manufacturer's letter codes and Waffenampt . Excellent, original condition with some areas of very minor corrosion and marking.
