THIRD REICH KRIEGSMARINE SPORTS VEST EAGLE.

Identical in form and type to the Wehrmacht (army) vest eagle, the navy one is in blue cotton rather than black. This particular eagle is a fair bit smaller than the eagle normally found. It is shown in the photos next to an army eagle for comparison purposes. In a ‘bevo’ cotton weave the blue eagle is part of the cotton weave of the cloth. Great display piece.  read more

HITLER YOUTH NICKEL/STEEL BELT BUCKLE.

A great buckle here that’s really seen some proper use! Nickel plated over steel and complete with belt adjustment claw. The front eagle etc is quite worn on the surface, but still very clear. The reverse is RZM marked but as it’s been used so much, the metal tongue hook on the other part of the belt has rubbed away most of the RZM number! Good, honest wear. Officer's silver cap badge with two loops to the reverse worn by the Sudan Defence Force Supply Department. A shamrock upon a multi-rayed star with Egyptian hallmarks to the reverse for 1941-42. WW1 Imperial medal bar featuring EKII, Hanseatic Cross of Bremen 1914 - 1918 and Hindenburg Cross. Mounted for wear on pinback bar with Hindenburg cross manufacturer marked ' RSL '. Good overall condition, patination to all awards with undamaged enamel to the Hanseatic cross although there appears to be a sub enamel flaw to one arm. Slight staining to ribbons.  read more
