A very good original example of the Luftwaffe Ground Assault badge. Awarded to Luftwaffe personnel for achievement in ground combat. Instituted in 1942.
No maker badge but is the type with the Luftwaffe eagle separately applied to the wreath with one rivet.
Very good detail overall. Pin back and hook to reverse. No oxidisation, no damage.  read more

Green herringbone, heavy duty cotton armband with applied red band and printed ' 13th K.R.R. '. Steel buckle with a purple pencil inscribed name and number to reverse.
