Husaren-Regiment " Kaiser Nikolaus II. von Russland " (1. Westfälisches) Nr. 8 served on the Western Front from 1914 including the Marne, Arras, Lille and Ypres followed by a spell on the Eastern Front. It's final commander until its dissolution was von Manstein including the period when it lost it's commander after the Tsar was deposed in March 1917.
Good, clean condition with guard nicotine stained with bright blade with some light speckling. Would benefit from a sympathetic clean but has been left as it was acquired from a European source.
