FANTASTIC IMPERIAL GERMAN ‘ILLUMINATED MEMORY OF MY SERVICE TIME PICTURE.

In an original oak glazed frame, these were purchased by Imperial German soldiers to display at home. It portrays their military service in particular regiments. This one has the soldiers pictur in the centre surrounded by amazing pressed paper military symbols etc. The wording around the frame translates to ‘ In hard fighting and the misery of war, God protected me’. Amazing artwork. Never to be repeated these days. A pure antique.
