Flat construction, embroidered ' RO ' brevet with oatmeal coloured thread on black cotton backing. Introduced in May 1941 the ' Observer, Radio ' trade brevet was a misnomer and was in fact worn by radar operators. Short lived and quickly replaced by the Navigator's brevet.
