Approx. 46 x 46cm. Scale 1 : 2,000,000. Sheet A Europe - Denmark to Yugoslavia. Created by Clayton Hutton of MI9 using wood pulp from a Mulberry tree, these maps were incredibly thin and light. WW1 1917 Trench Periscope by Beck.
Mk.IX, 1917 dated, hand held periscope by R & J.Beck Ltd. Khaki painted brass body with screw off hard wood handle and adjustable ( working ) focusing eyepiece. British 1945 MkIV Turtle Pattern Helmet. The Mk III was replaced in September 1944 by the improved MK IV for use in the Far East. This had the same basic steel shell, but was fitted with new repositioned, lower chinstrap mounts and a quick release liner held in place via a "Lift the dot" fastener in the crown (instead of a nut and bolt as found in the MKIII). 1915 German Entrenching Tool & Carrier.
Entrenching Tool is the classic M1898/09 type with the very discernible pattern specific riveted "turn-backs" to the top blade rim. Blade which has some pitting, is clearly dated 1915 and double manufacturer marked ' Leckmann '. WWII No.36M Mk I Hand Grenade.
A British, WWII, No.36M MkI Hand Grenade in excellent condition. Complete with 65% of original lacquer with residual filling rings. Manufacturer marking to body appears to be ' C/A. Mc D.' indicating manufacture by Callenders Abbots Foundry Co Ltd Glasgow, Mc Dowall Steven & Co Falkirk. Lever similarly marked ' W & M ' with base plug 1943 dated.
All parts present and fully strippable.

Cased 9ct gold sweetheart brooch for The Buffs ( Royal East Kent Regiment ). Fine Buffs regimental badge mounted to a bar fixing which is clearly marked 9ct with manufacturer's initials ' H.G.& S.' contained in an Aldershot based retailer's case. read more

Solid, 1944 dated MG151/20 HE Practice manufacture marked and marked with three vertical arrows. Contained in a lacquered, 1945 steel case. Projectile has very light pitting.

WW1 Imperial Luger Holster - Souvenired.
Standard WW1 Imperial Luger holster. Manufacturer marked and dated 1915 ( ? ) to interior but difficult to accurately read. The holster is sound with no loose stitching and various marks and scratches. Interestingly there appears to have been a label glued to the reverse, the remains of which partially obscure an inscription from a ' Lieut Warr R.E.
