Die stamped aluminium belt buckle worn by members of the D.A.F. Werkschar ( Deutsche Arbeitsfront ) the German Labour Front. Aluminium body with steel roller and prongs with clear manufacturer's markings RZM M4/44 indicating manufacture by Paul Cramer & Co., Lüdenscheid. WW2 RAF Radio Observer Brevet.

Flat construction, embroidered ' RO ' brevet with oatmeal coloured thread on black cotton backing. Introduced in May 1941 the ' Observer, Radio ' trade brevet was a misnomer and was in fact worn by radar operators. Short lived and quickly replaced by the Navigator's brevet. Good, used condition with clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform with some loss to tip. Scarce.  read more

Considering this was used at the time and is now well over 100 years old, it’s in pretty good shape.
