Tin and celluloid matchbox cover with a photograph of a military football team to one side and Allied flags to the other. Produced by a photographer in Roke Lane, Pudsey. Difficult to make out the unit. Pleasing WW1 souvenir in good, clean condition. read more

British, Silk escape map 43/K covering south west France and North East Spain to one side and North Portugal and North west Spain to the other crucially showing borders. Stored folded with other RAF paperwork which has slightly bled on to one small area. Two minor holes on one fold otherwise clean. read more
WW2 British RAF 165 Squadron Crest.
WW2 period RAF Squadron crest for No.165 Squadron. Cast from hard plaster and hand painted with integral hanging loops to reverse. 165 Sqn. formed in 1918 but saw no service, reforming in 1942 it flew Spifires until disbanded in 1946. In good overall condition with minor edge chips. read more

BEAUTIFUL 19thC ENGLISH COURT SWORD WITH HANGER.
Just a very nice decorative piece in near mint condition. This beautiful court sword is made by Robert Mole and Sons Birmingham, who supplied sword to the government for use in India, amongst other places. This sword dates from the late 1800's perhaps early 1900. It is in untouched condition with all the fire gilt still present. 8 x official photographs showing 2nd Independent Parachute Brigade preparing for operations in Greece in 1944, ' Operation Manna '. The Brigade deployed in October 1944 and fought the retreating Germans for the next three months. Good, clear 160mm x 115mm images, some minor abrasions and dents, not effecting the images. WW1 12th Lancers Officer's Uniform grouping.
Two WW1 dated tunics to Capt .William Benham Bell, 12th Royal Lancers. First tunic is a shoulder rank service dress tunic with a tailor's label for ' Henry Coalett, Hanover Sq ' with Bell's name and a date for May 1917. Unissued 3rd Patt F.S.Knife.
Introduced from 1942 the 3rd Pattern F.S. knife was the zenith of FS knives formulating the design and method of production that is still used today. This example looks to have been unissued with even factory sharpened blade still covered in ( now dried ) storage grease.
