Japanese yosegaki hinomaru or good luck flag. Approx 70 x 100cms printed on silk with two leather reinforced corners and cotton ties. This example is covered in characters with a prominent name or exhortation running across the top of the flag. Both leather corner reinforcements and ties are intact with some contemporary staining and fold marks. Good large example. read more

A ’plastic’ battledress escape and evasion button compass. Compass appears as an innocuous button. Black plastic button with magnetised points, marked to its reverse with dots.
