RAF ' Escape ' boot knife.
Small penknife that was conatined in a concealed pocket in the uppers of the R.A.F. 1943 'Escape' Pattern Flying Boots. This knife was intended to cut away the flying boot uppers leaving a convincing civilian type shoe. Scarce example invariably missing from the boot. In good condition with a worn painted finish.

Early British Sword Bayonet Pattern 1907 dated December 1908 and manufactured by Wilkinson. Featuring an Edward VII cypher, various inspection marks and unit marked to the East Surrey Regt. THIRD REICH NAVAL (KREIGSMARINE) SIDE CAP/OVERSEAS CAP.
A really nice example of the side cap/overseas cap worn by all standard ranks in the German navy. Deep blue wool construction with lovely bevo yellow navy eagle and separate roundel undeneath. Both badge machine stiched onto the cloth. Blue wool has faded a little with age, but there is no damage or moth. Nice blue silk-like lining shows wear, but again no damage.
