Special Forces/Commando Lock Knife.
Using the same body as the SOE Tyre Slasher Knife this single bladed knife is associated with issue to special forces and Commando usage. Clip pointed blade marked ' Watts Sheffield ' with undamaged chequered Bexoid grips and a steel staple. Blade has been sharpened and is stained but retains its profile. Blade and action are tight and fully functional. A good, used example.

Uncommon example of an original ' Rucksack 31 fur Hochgebirgstruppen '. Olive green canvas construction with leather edging, straps and reinforcements with cotton inner pocket. Early Prussian wehrpass to a Jäger Franz Scherkenbach of the 2nd Komp Jager Batallion No.8. Appears to have been a one year volunteer, a fabric worker who has gone on to serve with the Landwehr and includes various entry outlining his service from 1881 including training with the Gewehr 88 rifle. Also includes a certificate of service. Slightly tired condition but uncommon. read more

British WW1 Pocket Knife.
British pocket knife, typical of those sourced commercially to be packed into gift boxes sent to troops. This example however, has a military acceptance stamp on the tang of the 85mm blade. Knife has gouged bone scales, blade and spear point can opener with a copper shackle but no manufacturer details. Good, used and tight condition, one small crack radiating from the rivet securing the scales. read more
