A particularly poignant grouping to 18551 Pte.G.Beaney, 13th Btn. Gloucester Regt. Beanie was wounded in the leg in December 1916 and was evacuated to a hospital in Aldershot where he died on 28/12/1916 probably of gangrene. ' to exterior, machine turned to the interior inscribed with various mend details.
