This sew-in type of strap has been modified from the rank of Unteroffizier by the addition of a pip and omitting the extra lace, with the addition of entwined ' S 's, the symbol of sports schools. Red wool armband with separately applied BeVo weave swastika on white disc. A good used example of the standard red/white Party armband, used by many Third Reich organisations, slightly grubby with two stains to swastika background. Remains of stitching where the armband was probably tacked to a greatcoat or uniform sleeve. read more

German WW2 second pattern pith helmet. Olive drap felt construction with field gray chinstrap and rim strengthening. Aluminium pith helmet eagle and national colour shields, red felt lining with a leather headband marked with size, 56 , maker marked ' M 'and date 1942, penned initials to sweatband. Shows signs of light use with some very minor dents and abrasions. read more

This is the standard Princess Mary gift tin in pressed brass. Unfortunately the body of the tin has suffered a little, but is still complete.
