Uncommon set of insignia to the Coorg & Mysore Machine Gun Corps. Comprising an embroidered badge with attached collar which I believe was worn on the sun helmet and two cast white metal collar badges. Part of the Indian volunteer organisation largely formed with European volunteers and in existence between 1917 and 1933. read more

No.5 Bayonet Mk.I
An excellent example of a No.5 Bayonet Mk 1, second pattern designed for use with the No.5 Jungle Carbine. This pattern differs from the first pattern in having two bolts securing the grips as opposed to one. This example comes with a MkII scabbard. Faint manufacturer's marks ' WSC ' indicating manufacture by Wilkinson Sword and serial number stamped to pommel. In excellent, clean condition. read more

This round was the result of a US project commenced in 1937 to develop a .90 inch machine cannon for aircraft use. This example, a dummy HE with an aluminium dummy fuze, has Lot and calibre markings to projectile body with a profusely marked brass 23x139SR case with markings indicating manufacture by Frankford Arsenal.
