1934 Official record of a patent specification lodged by Heinrich Romberg on behalf of Rheinmetall for high explosive tracer shells. The patent seems to outline the use of the tracer compound to destroy the round on failure to hit a target where it would be initiated by the fuze. A 1938 THIRD REICH DATED BROWN BELT LEATHER (LUFTWAFFE?) MARKED.
A really nice supple belt leather if you are looking to add to a buckle or add to your collection. Dark brown leather with adjuster strip stitched to one end. The strip is marked L2/256/38.
Prr re o ably a Luftwaffe piece being brown, but also could be for a SA or Political buckle. Nice, original belt. read more
WW1 No.36 MkI Grenade.
A good example of a WW1 No.36 MkI Grenade. This example was produced by Mills Munitions whose markings are found to body, lever and base plug. Residual lacquer finish to body with similar japanned type finish to lever. Not easy to find a matching grenade although the core is marked to as yet unidentified company.
