Gee was a radio navigation system used by the RAF during WWII. It was the first hyperbolic navigation system to be used operationally, entering service with RAF Bomber Command in 1942. WW1 British Officer's Dog Tag - POW.
Standard WW1 fibre dog tag named to Cap.W.G.Pearson of the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regt. Initial research shows Pearson to have served with the 4th Btn. K.O.R. and was reported missing in June 1915 on the Western Front and was subsequently repatriated in 1917. Good, used condition which would undoubtedly reward more research.

1940 dated SD cap by Silberston & Sons worn by a member of the Irish Guards. Size 7 1/8 with gilded Irish cap badge and Irish Guards button supporting the leather chin strap. Wool body with an oil cloth headband and lining. Faint but legible manufacturer's details and clear inspection marks. Good used condition with some minor moth grazing and some minor holing. read more
