WW1, 1917 dated German Becker (20x70 RB) aircraft cannon HE round. The Becker round was the forerunner for the Oerlikon 20 mm FF, FFL and FFS series of aircraft cannon rounds used during WW2. Brass case with head stamp ' P & S 17 Sp61 ' and a removable contact fuse also dated 1917 and marked ' 135 U '. Good, clean condition.

Officially sectioned 1917 dated No.36 MkI. Body marked ' R ' beneath lever indicating probable manufacture by Revo of Tipton with a base plug marked ' E.A.R. ' ?
