WW1 German Souvenired Binoculars.

Standard pair of German Fernglas 08 binoculars by Schutz & Co in their original leather case manufacturer marked Emil Busch. What makes this item more interesting is the abel to the interior lid. Mounted in a way which partially covers but not obscures the printed instructions is a label indicating issue to various named individuals, the last being Uffz.Koenig. This in turn has been supplanted by a label indicating acquisition by a Driver S.Williams of an ASC Horse Transport Co in 1917.
Leather case in ' tired ' but stable condition missing it's side closure straps. Binoculars are in good cosmetic condition with clear optics but with both focusing rings apparently seized which may reward careful work. Evocative souvenir.
