Veteran's Wehrpass.
A Wehrpass to a veteran Frontkämpfer, Hermann Grossekathofer of Gen.-Komp.Kf-Ers.Abt.26. It would appear that grossekathofer saw service in WW1 with Res.I.R.30 fighting in Russia during 1917 before undertaking operations in France and Belgium during 1918. Re-enlisting in 1938 he went on to see service in Poland, Belgium and France. Would reward some further research. read more

An original WW2 ' sleeve ' of insignia worn by members of the F.A.N.Y. - First Aid Nursing Yeomanry as worn by the S.O.E. The cloth shoulder rank indicates that worn by a Cadet Ensign. This rank system was unique to the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry and was in use between 1938 and 1945 when it was replaced by the more conventional Army rank system. Lovely toned EKII, ring marked indicating manufacture by H.Schneider with The Honour Cross marked ' 7 R.V.Pforzheim ' indicating it was produced under a national manufacturer's association.
