Some years ago I had a good customer in Estonia. He was a helmet and dagger collector. He was also a detectorist and spent a lot of his free time checking the German battlefields in Estonia, where some serious and bloody engagements took place. FANTASTIC IMPERIAL GERMAN ‘ILLUMINATED MEMORY OF MY SERVICE TIME PICTURE.

In an original oak glazed frame, these were purchased by Imperial German soldiers to display at home. It portrays their military service in particular regiments. SMALL ALUMINIUM TEA SPOON - SS- MARKED.

This came from a large military collection, where all the items were original. I’ve not seen any similar items like this, but it’s perfectly feasible as all military cutlery etc was marked in some way. It has no other markings apart from these tiny SS runes stamped in a circle.  read more

An interesting 9” side plate or small dinner plate in white china. Has Third Reich eagle on reverse and is made by the famous Rosenthal ceramic company. Dated 1937.  read more

A large, undamaged white coffee mug. Used in military canteens throughout Germany etc. Marked on the base with green Wehrmacht eagle. Dated 1941 and made by SPM from BAYREUTH. Perfect condition.  read more

THIRD REICH IRON CROSS 2nd CLASS.

An original, unmarked and uncleaned EKii with portion of original ribbon. Purchased this week with a number of other WWII bring back souvenirs. Cross shows no paint loss to the iron centre and the diver arms have dark cleaned patina. There is perhaps 3” of original ribbon. I cannot see a makers mark on the suspension ring.  read more

AMAZING BRITISH WW2 ‘HATE BELT’.

A common practice during the period was to collect regimental cap badges and attach them to a belt of some sort. This happened with both German and English badges. These are all Ww2 ENGLISH cap badges, mounted on a brown military belt with brass claw buckle. There are 26 badges in all.
