WW1 No.5 Mk.I Hand Grenade, known more colloquially as the ' Mills '. Good example, has a 1916 dated brass base plug by ' D.F.Co ' - Derwent Foundry Co Ltd. Exeter Place, Derby.with brass filler plug and brass core. Body marked ' X ' with 85%+ remaining of the pink painted filling ring indicating an Ammanol filling.All parts present and fully strippable. Good, overall condition

Brass and white metal bugle by the maker A.Oehms of Hannover. Dated 1915 and featuring an applied cartouche with a die-struck Prussian eagle, white metal bell and reinforcing bands.
