Luftwaffe Officer's insignia grouping.
An excellent condition grouping of insignia taken from a Luftwaffe officer. Yellow piped, sew-in pattern shoulder boards for the rank of Leutnant with matching bullion collar patches and to complete the set a superb bullion breast eagle. Both the shoulder boards, collar patches and the breast eagle display clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform but are in excellent condition with some very minor grubiness to the collar patches. Bullion is clean and un powdered. An excellent matching set.
WWII British Sten bayonet.
An original Bayonet,Sten Mk.I. An unmarked example of this very scarce bayonet with only some 75,000 examples being manufactured following it's adoption in 1942. Designed to utilise the scabbard of the similar No.4 bayonet, this example is accompanied by an unmarked Mk.I scabbard. Although unmarked, the fillet welds holding the blade to the socket are typical of those attributed to the work of the one of the main assemblers, Grundy (Teddington) Ltd, at their Somerset Works in Teddington. In very good condition, retaining approx. 35-40% of it's original black finish. Some areas of very minor corrosion. (For a more detailed study of the Sten Mk.I bayonet I would recommend Graham Priest's 'The Spirit of the Pike').
EARLY SENIOR RLB OFFICER ARMBAND-DARK BLUE
This is a REALLY nice, early RLB senior officers armband. Dark blue cotton quality material, BEVO type early RLB badge to the front. Silver or gilt bullion lines stiched to top and bottom. GES GESCH embroydered into reverse seam. Have not had one this nice before, a super variation.
HITLER YOUTH LEADERS BELT AND BUCKLE-!!!
I have had the buckle before, but not the belt AND buckle complete. A really nice looking set and rare. Alloy buckle is in good condition, has some surface scratches and wear to the front surfaces. Is well marked RZM etc to the reverse keeper. Female part of the buckle is attached to the belt. Black leather belt in good condition, has been used and worn. Marked to the leather tongue. Overall in excellent condition.
NSKK rare SPORTS VEST (?) BEVO
I have not seen one like this before, complete with unit detail etc. Measures approx. 5" x 5" in black cotton on cream/white BEVO backing. M-Gr OM, sadly I do not know what this means, I am sure someone out there will tell me. In fact, looking at the very detailed construction, and quality of this badge, it could be a sleeve badge for overcoat? Anyway, a very nice thing and great with a NSKK collection.
RLB OFFICER ARMBAND-EARLY BADGE-RAYON/BEVO.
A very nice example of this type of armband. Cloth itself is a powder-blue rayon type material. Has the early RLB badge BEVO woven into the fabric. Twin tress lines sewn to the top and bottom of the armband for an officer. Reverse has manufactureres mark 30 in the fabric. Near mint 100% original armband. VERY nice
HJ/BDM 1st Pattern Athletic shirt.
White cotton sports shirt (Sporthemd) worn by both HJ and BDM with the cloth HJ diamond in the centre of the chest, 7cm from the centre of the neckline. In excellent clean condition with no markings, a name label appears to have been neatly removed from the bottom hem. An excellent example which would be hard to upgrade.
