WWI British pocket compass.
White metal cased, 1917 dated, British pocket compass. Compass contained in a white metal case opened by push button with the maker's details F.Barker & Son, London and date stamped to the lid. Bright polished interior with inscribed serial number. Luminous dial in good working order, case in good used condition with some surface wear and scratching
Luftwaffe 1940 Belt Buckle and tab.
Stamped steel 1940 Patt. Luftwaffe belt buckle for enlisted men/NCOs with leather tab. Buckle not maker marked but leather tab clearly stamped ' Bruder Schneider A.G. Wien 1940.' Buckle appears to have remains of a black finish over grey but generally appears to have been unissued.
British WWII Cigarette Ration tin.
Standard WW II British cigarette ration tin. Orignally containing 50 cigarettes, two of these tins were to be found in the standard 14 man composite ration. This example in excellent condition and maker marked MB ( Metal Box ) to the side of the lid, scratches to the underside but otherwise excellent.
Lebel Mle.86 Epee bayonet.
Excellent condition Epee-Baionette Mle.86. Full length Lebel bayonet with quillion and pre 1893 press stud release catch. White metal hilt with matching numbers to bayonet and scabbard and numerous inspection and manufacturer marks. Anchor stamp to quillion. In excellent overall condition, difficult to improve.
FRENCH WW1 Fighting knife with rare maker.
A rare WW1 fighting knife, which although quite heavily sharpened, still in collectable condition. Has the maker S.G.C.O stampted into the blade. Perfect dark wood grip, straight crossguard. Steel scabbard with large belt loop. A menacing looking fighting knife.
East Yorkshire Regiment Wolseley pattern sun helme
Superb condition, possibly unissued Wolseley pattern sun helmet fitted with the XV white on maroon embroidered East Yorkshire Regiment pugaree badge. Fitted with Vero's Detachable Self - Conforming Head Band, size 7. Fitted with a mint condition, 1917 dated chin strap. Looking at the pattern it looks to be from the 1920's/30's period, unlikely to be upgraded, some minor damage to the silver interior lining.
SOE/OSS Spring Cosh.
A good example of the spring cosh made for the OSS and SOE. 18.5cms long when closed and 43cms extended complete with original green leather covering. A little over 8000 coshes were manufactured by the Timms Spring Co. of Ohio of which 1000 were delivered to the British Ministry of Supply. This example in good operable condition with some minor dings and dents and toned overall.
