VERY RARE..LUFTWAFFE GENERAL SUMMER BREAST EAGLE.
This is only the second one of these I've had, and it's beautiful! Luftwaffe breast eagle in gilt-washed aluminium for the Gernerals Summer tunic or shirt. Fantastic detail, made by ASSMANN, with 'A' cast into reverse. Pin back.MINT CONDITION. This is actually not the same as a normal Assmann aluminium breast eagle, it has subtle differences. Gilt wash for starters, then the actually eagle has more and better detail, when comparing the two side by side. Also the eagle itself is slightly different, daintier, and the eagles leg which holds the swastika is cast free of the main body of the bird. So very delicate!! The standard eagle has the leg and swastika cast as part of the main body, all joined together. I have shown a photo of the two together to show the differences. A rare item and would look fantastic with any Luftwaffe display, especially if you have some Luftwaffe Gerneral's insignia etc.
WW1 British Crown and Anchor game.
WW1 period painted canvas and bone dice Crown and Anchor game. Although officially not tolerated Crown & Anchor games were widespread whenever troops were off duty and many pay packets were short lived ! Canvas board in heavily used condition with the bone dice in well used condition. A nice example of WW1 social military history.

1st Battalion Royal Hants Battledress C1946
1944 dated ' 1940 Patt Battledress Blouse ' with badges for the 1st Battalion Royal Hampshire Regiment whilst serving with 1st Infantry Division in Palestine. The combination of insignia is still configured in the wartime manner but would indicate approx. 1946 . ( The 1st Batt served in palestine from 1945 to 1946 ). The wartime BD is in generally good, used condition with dart alterations to the reverse. Moth damage to r/h pocket and minor wear to belt closure. An interesting transitional piece between wartime and peace.

The 4th Reconnaissance Battalion adopted a 'regimental' flash worn on both sleeves. The flash took the form of a leaping black panther on a yellow and green background split diagonally. 4 Recce fought in the breakthrough to Tunis, and chased the enemy round Cape Bon. Fought from March to November 1944, in Italy and was then sent to help deal with the civil disturbances in Greece. Printed on cotton and in excellent unissued condition.

7th Armoured/RAC grouping.
Medal and paperwork grouping to 7938022 Tpr.Norman,Goodall Gee. Medal entitlement confirmed by endorsements to accompanying paybook and demonstrates extensive service with 7th Armoured in Africa, Italy and Europe. Along with various passes which indicate possible service with 3/4th County of London Yeomanry, the group is accompanied by used 7th Armoured Div. sign and unused, printed RAC shoulder title. Medals contained in their original envelopes and their original box. An attempt has been made to obscure the name and address but it is still legible. Also accompanied by an HMSO publication 'The Royal Armoured Corps'. A good grouping worthy of further research.
