Mk.IX, 1917 dated, hand held periscope by R & J.Beck Ltd. Khaki painted brass body with screw off hard wood handle and adjustable ( working ) focusing eyepiece. These periscopes were often used in MkIV tanks. This example in good, working condition, retaining 80% of original paintwork, slightly dusty optics. Good example.  read more

1915 German Entrenching Tool & Carrier.

Entrenching Tool is the classic M1898/09 type with the very discernible pattern specific riveted "turn-backs" to the top blade rim. Blade which has some pitting, is clearly dated 1915 and double manufacturer marked ' Leckmann '.
