Based on a design submitted by Frys, Queen Victoria sanctioned a gift of chocolate to the troops in South Africa. Distribution to the troops was made between the middle of January and the end of February 1900 having been shipped to South Africa in crates of 50. Princess Mary1914 Gift Fund, Trench Lighter
A scarce example of the Princess Mary gift fund Trench Lighter.
Lighter body complete with partially used wick chord, flint missing as is common. Body marked with a crowned ' M ' and ‘ Xmas Fund 1914 ’. Lower half of the lighter has the ‘Asprey London’ maker mark. Nickel plating now largely absent with some minor dents through use.

SA Wehrmannschaft Buckle.
Late war ( introduced in 1943 ), SA Wehrmannschaft belt buckle. Manufactured in die-struck aluminium with maker marks RZM M4/22 for CT Dicke, the only manufacturer of these buckles. The SA Wehrmannschaft were an armed and active SA field unit that saw action against partisans. This example is in clearly used condition with scratches and rubbing to highlights. Scarce original buckle. read more

Nickelled case with snap bezel and back marked ' G.S.T.P.023161 ' with a broad arrow and ' S '.15 jewel Swiss made movement which appears to keep good time. Good clean movement, with wear to case through use, with initials ' J F ' scratched to reverse. read more

A scarce example of a British WW1 No.3 Mk2 Rifle Grenade.
