WW1 Unit Marked '07 Bayonet with '08 Patt Frog.

A 1918 '07 Patt Bayonet by Wilkinson marked to the R.A.S.C. complete with an unblancoed '08 Patt Frog retaining it's helve strap. It would appear that this example has been together for it's entire life, the 1918 manufacture date dovetailing with the RASC marking, the year the Army Service Corps was granted the ' Royal ' prefix. Manufacturer markings lightly stamped but with clear inspection marks to blade and both grips, service number stencilled over other probably manufacturer markings to reverse of frog. Frog patinated overall as are all exposed metal parts to bayonet and scabbard. An excellent, sleepy, untouched example.
