Tin and celluloid matchbox cover commemorating the Australian Imperial Forces. AIF cabbage design to one face with the Southern Cross, Australian flag to the reverse. This would appear to be a Christmas gift to the troops from the Australian War Contingent in 1916. In good, overall condition with one light scorch mark. read more

An unmarked, but in perfect working order, military stop watch dating from the WW1 period? All nickel silver case, white face with black numbers. Large sweep hand for seconds, and smaller, inset dial for minutes. Reverse of case has large War Dept arrow and issue numbers underneath. S 2530.

WW1 Trio, 1914/15 Star, War and Victory Medal grouping to 284049 S.P.O..R.N. D.Lonsdale. Petty Officer Stoker David Lonsdale was lost when HMS Hawke was sunk on 15/10/1914. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Chatham Memorial.
