WW1 Cavalry Issue Whistle.

1915 dated, Hudson manufactured whistle of the so-called cavalry pattern. Carrying a 1908 patent, this whistle has a large finger ring braised to the side of the tube in order to accommodate a gloved finger. In good, used condition with a broad arrow acceptance mark to the ring.
