An excellent example of a WW2 MkII British Pattern military kukri. Dated and manufacturer marked to steel blade ' Pioneer Calcutta 1943 ' with steel bolster and brass and steel rivets. Wood and leather sheath with brass tip, issue marks and 1944 dated. Excellent, clean condition with clear evidence of sharpening to blade.

Steel, needle pin fastening , marked to the reverse, with the number in relief ' 65 ' to the base of the catch support, this is the LDO number for Klein & Quenzer A.G., Idar/Oberstein.
