WW2 British Pattern Time Pencil.

WW2 British pattern time pencil as issued to Auxiliary Units. This alloy, copper and brass example has a good deal of it's original finish complete with white band markings indicating a 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hour delay. These early British pattern delays are very scarce compared with later patterns and this example is complete but INERT.  read more

IMPERIAL GERMAN IRON CROSS 2nd CLASS WITH RIBBON.

Over 5 million were awarded in WW1 and are still one of Germanys most collectable awards. This on has not been cleaned. Has an iron center and silver frame. there is the original black/white ribbon attached to the suspension ring, but this has faded with age. As far as I can see, there is no maker mark on the ring.  read more

Incredible detail if viewed close up, with pebbled portions of the swastika induce the cog wheel.

WW2 German U-Boat War Badge.

U-Boat War Badge, gilded zinc construction maker marked ' fo ' for Friedrich Orth. Good detail with steel pin to reverse with the gilt wash now only visible in the recesses, typical of the zinc badges where the gilding fades over time. Pin slightly distorted through wear. Good example.  read more

WW1 German East Africa Souvenir.

A popular souvenir produced by soldiers that had it's origins in Victorian colonial service, this artistically frayed piece of KD material is inscribed ' A souvenir from German East Africa '. To the reverse the author of this work has inscribed a few lines of doggerel and identified himself as No.8710 Pte.C.Watts RMLI who served in the campaign 1917-1917. Unusual.  read more
