Collar Stud Escape Compass.

One of the more igenious concealed compasses from Clayton Hutton's team at MI9. This pattern was designed to resemble the collar studs that were generally available from Woolworths and other retailers. Originally the compass face would have been concealed by a coating of white paint which would have been scratched off to allow it's use as a compass. This example in good working order with very slight traces of whitener around the rim and some minor scratches to compass face. A scarce example of this pattern of escape aid.

A fine condition British, WWII, No.36M MkI Hand Grenade with base plate (gas check) for use in the cup discharger as fitted to the SMLE rifle. Features approx. 90%+ of the original brown lacquer with green filling ring and red ' Xs '. Base plate and lever are matching manufacturer marked with a 1940 dated base plug and base plate. All parts present and fully strippable. INERT.

Great condition belt and buckle set for a Police officer. All alloy, two piece buckle in near mind condition. Black leather belt marked and dated. Size stamped as 110cm long. Both parts of leather stamped with 1943 dates. Difficult to upgrade, leather very supple.

DEACTIVATED 8mm Type 14 Nambu pistol. Standard Japanese sidearm of WW2 manufactured by Chuo Kogyo Co.Ltd in their Kokubunji factory in August 1941. Manufacturer marked, dated and type marked with matching serial numbers to all parts with the exception of the magazine. In good overall condition with the exception of a fractured safety, which although broken still functions, priced accordingly. With Deactivation certificate. AVAILABLE WITHIN THE UK ONLY

Chindit shoulder patch.

Chindit shoulder patch.

Good embroidered example of the badge worn by the 77th Indian Brigade and later the 3rd Indian Division - The Chindits. Formed by Orde Wingate in 1942 and fought extensively throughout Burma, often behind Japanese lines. The name Chindits is a corruption of the word ' Chinthe ' which is the lion-headed pagoda guardian seen throughout Burma and represented by the patch. Classic, worn example with some mothing and safety pin fastening to the reverse.

A good part leather bound copy of 'Mein Kampf' by Adolf Hitler. 1938 edition with leather bound spine with gold blocked title and 1939 presentation dedication. Very minor foxing and some marking but otherwise a good copy.

WW1 C96 7.63mm 'Broomhandle' Mauser.

A good example of a WW1 7.63mm C96 Mauser self-loading pistol. Although not dated it displays typical features of wartime production with machining marks showing on the frame of the gun. The butt is rebated to accept the wooden shoulder-stock/holster and has all matching numbers. The action is tight and crisp with a good amount of original bluing present on the ladder sight, extractor and safety. The rest of the gun is clean with a few areas of minor corrosion. Altogether a good clean example which was originally a 'bring back' trophy that was recently recovered from a loft. DEACTIVATED. ONLY AVAILABLE WITHIN UK

No.3 Commando Shoulder title.

Printed No.3 Commando shoulder title. A good used example, clearly having been removed from a uniform. No.3 Commando had the distinction of carrying out one of the first raids on the Lofotens. This was followed by Dieppe, Sicily and Italy before Normandy and the Rhine Crossing under their colourful CO. Durnford-Slater.

Consisting of a tinned steel outer case made in two halves containg a ring of HE, the tyreburster was designed for use against vehicles. A minimum load of 150lbs was required to intiate a special pressure switch setting off the charge. This example in clean condition , fuse present and intact, fully strippable A scarce example of a weapon used by clandestine forces. INERT

A fine condition British, WW1, No.36M MkI Hand Grenade with base plate (gas check Mk2 ) for use in the cup discharger as fitted to the SMLE rifle. Manufactured by JMD & SL in 1917, both the body and baseplug share the same manufacturer. The gas check is unmarked. The grenade is fully strippable and is in excellent, original black lacquer finish. INERT
