Thuis flag is in near perfect condition apart from a small L shaped tear, right in the middle circle!! It has obviously hung in a veterans or collectors den, and he smoked!! GERMAN WW2 MOTORCYCLE FACTORY ARMBAND/PENNANT

GERMAN WW2 MOTORCYCLE FACTORY ARMBAND/PENNANT

This is a really unusual set, acquired from a dealer in Germany. There is a red party type armband with the ARDIE-WERKE badge in bevo type weave stiched to the cloth. As a companion, there is a small car pennant with the swastika one side and the same ARDIE-WERKE badge on the reverse. The ARDIE-WERK company made motorcycles before/after and during the war. They were quite a well known company, with some interesting machines. Armband must have been worn by a factory guard or official and the pennant flown from his car. Quality items, the pennant is double sided with a black and white piped edge, and a canvas sleeve for the rod. Both in excellent condition. Never had something like this before.
