1941 dated Kriegsmarine basic chest pneumatic flotation vest. Inflated by mouth, vest has a central inflation tube and cloth ties to secure at the back. Various plugs allow deflation of individual cells. Manufacturer marked, dated and numbered, vest is in good bright, clean condition and still holds air.

ww2 Japanese good luck vest.
Unusual Japanese senninbari vest. Apparently a commercially available padded vest - 'menci' trade mark label - the vest has been embroidered with a thousand stitches split between the front and the back. The stitches are arranged around two hanko or shrine seals and below one seal a good luck coin has been stitched to the vest.

Good quality woolen naval reefer jacket of the German Imperial Navy issued from the Wilhelmshaven Clothing Depot in 1910. Labelled as per regulations with the proof stamp of the Navy Clothing Depot, serial number stamp and wearer's name tab.
